Dob Pod for 4.5-10" Dobsonian Telescopes

This sturdy and stable base raises your entire Dobson telescope by approximately 30 cm. This allows many observers to look through the eyepiece more comfortably.

The base is made of 2.5 cm thick melamine chipboard. It fits all Orion Dobsonians with 4.5 inch, 6 inch, 8 inch and 10 inch (i.e. 114, 152, 203 and 254 mm) apertures. The base can also be used in combination with the Orion rolling base.

The base can be quickly assembled yourself using the tools and screws provided.
