Product description

These spacers can be placed between prism rails and tube clamps, for example. They are always useful when, without spacers, the parts of your optical equipment are too close together and can no longer be aligned or operated correctly.

The hole spacing is 20 mm, suitable for Vixen prism rails and PLUS guide scope rings, and 55 mm for Losmandy prism rails.

Four M6 screws are included in the delivery.

Like all the other elements of the PLUS series, these guide rings are made with high mechanical precision (built with CNC machines from aluminum block) and specially designed to enable you to easily install other mechanical elements such as support rings, plates or dovetail clamps.

The spacing is wrong.

The page above correctly states that the distance of the two outermost holes is 55mm. However the distance on my Losmandy dovetail, as well as on the tube rings of my Esprit 100 is 52mm. There were no screws included in the box, but it does not matter, since they would have been M6, and the Esprit needs 1/4 inch screws anyway. And the holes on these spacers are also designed for M6 screws, one needs to widen them by 0.15 millimetres to accommodate those Skywatcher screws. All this is my mistake, as I did not check these data beforehand. But if you consider buying these, please be careful. The material is sturdy, so this is a good product, if it fits.
