Solar filter for 254mm Newtonian telescope

With this accessory you can safely observe the sun! The solar filter foil is securely mounted in a frame which you can simply attach to the front end of your telescope tube, in this way only a fraction of the sunlight reaches the telescope.

You can observe sunspots, the Mercury transit and solar eclipses.

Tip: remove the finder scope to ensure you don’t accidentally look through it. Of course you can also equip your finder scope with a solar filter, or mount a solar finder.
