acunis® metal frames – comfort lenses for migraine-related light sensitivity
Light sensitivity is a common symptom among migraine sufferers – this is exactly where acunis® metal frames come in. These specially developed comfort lenses offer noticeable relief from light-induced discomfort and provide effective protection against annoying sources of glare. acunis® glasses specifically filter the blue wavelength range around 484 nm, which is perceived as particularly stressful by sufferers.
Unlike conventional sunglasses, acunis® lenses allow the eyes to adapt less to "dark vision". This means that visual comfort is maintained even when the glasses are removed – without sudden glare. Thanks to UV protection and road safety in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12312-1, they are the ideal everyday companion.
