The PowerBox PLUS V3 is a powerful yet compact power and data centre designed specifically for astrophotographers.
Efficient power distribution
Three 12 V DC outputs:
- One adjustable output (5–13.2 V) for variable voltage requirements.
- One PWM-controlled output for intelligent control of dew heaters.
- One continuously active output.
External DC input via DC5525, compatible with standard 12 V supplies up to 10 A.
Integrated USB connectivity
- Two USB 3.1 ports and three USB 2.0 ports with integrated 12 V→5 V step-down converter (up to 5 A in total).
- USB ports can be switched individually via software – ideal for targeted control of connected cameras and instruments.
Intelligent dew heater control
Integrated DHT22 sensor measures temperature and humidity
External temperature probe included for precise environmental monitoring
Multiple operating modes:
- Automatic (based on dew point calculation)
- Constant or manual for fine power adjustment
- PWM output can be converted to a conventional regulated output if required.
