The camera adaptor allows you to connect a reflex camera to a telescope.
The variable focal length and projection adapter is a combined adapter for focal photography (here without distance change) and for projection photography (with distance change) on telescopes that have a 1.25" plug connection. A T2 ring that fits the camera bayonet is also required.
The adaptor consists of a chrome-plated brass sleeve with filter thread that fits directly into any 1.25" focuser. For focal photography, simply remove the projection part of the adaptor and you have a very short focal adaptor that saves focusing travel. For projection photography, an eyepiece is inserted into the variable projection part and securely clamped in place with a small screw; this combination is then inserted into the focuser. The entire adaptor is clamped in place using the clamping screws of the focuser.
