Tripod Head Base Plates
These base plates have been specially developed for users who want to work with a ball head, video tilt head or gimbal head, depending on the task at hand. They are simply attached to the underside of the tripod head and two locking screws ensure that they cannot twist.
These base plates have always been designed specifically for each product so as not to impair the function of the tripod head mounted on them. They are best combined with half shells that have an Arca-Swiss mount. They are currently available in five different versions.
P-BV10
This base plate was developed for the BV-10 series video tilt heads and the PG-1 gimbal head.
Dimensions 60 x 40 mm
Mounting 3/8" screw.
Also suitable for other tripod heads as the contact surface is smooth.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
