Adjust the sun precisely without risking your eyes. The finder has no optics. Simply look through the open rear window and, once the sun disc is centred, you can begin observing or photographing the sun.
The solar finder allows for precise manual pre-adjustment of the telescope to the sun:
- Front aperture: A small, precisely defined hole allows sunlight to shine through as a point
- Rear ring system: Several concentric rings help to centre the point of light perfectly
- Once the point of light is centred, the Seestar S50 is already very close to the sun – the automatic fine adjustment then works reliably
The item is made from PETG using a 3D printing process and is dimensionally stable up to 80°C.
