ST 80/400 SOLARUS-80 OTA

The Acuter Solarus-80 is a solar telescope with a safe, permanently mounted white light solar filter made of glass. This allows you to safely, quickly and easily observe sunspots, solar eclipses and the transit of inner planets in front of the sun (meaning Mercury; we will not experience the next Venus transit).

The Acuter Solarus-80 has a built-in filter wheel with pre-installed filters so that the sun can be viewed in different colours: filter wheel with red, yellow, blue, green, orange & ND (neutral density) filters, with practical filter display.
It comes with a universal Smartphone holder so you can capture your observations on camera.

The Acuter Solarus-80 complies with the ISO 12312-2:2015 standard (filters for direct observation of the sun).
