OKLOP Canvas Photos collects artwork of European amateur astrophotographers. The photographs rich in detail and color show the wonders of the universe not only digitally but also on canvas prints. Each image is manually inspected, printed on a high resolution photo printer and carefully placed on a pinewood frame with sawtooth hanger. The printed image thus continues on the sides of the frame, so that it stands out from its glide when placed on the wall.
The motif shows the gas nebula NGC 1499 in the constellation Perseus, which is also known as the California Nebula due to its shape.
