The specialised, rear-tilting gemmological tripods are available with the NexiusZoom and NexiusZoom EVO stereo zoom heads. The microscopes are equipped with a 30W transmitted light halogen illumination at an oblique angle to the sample. This allows the examination of gemstones under perfect dark field conditions. The tripod is available with 1 W LED or 7 W fluorescence illumination for bright field contrast.
