The TS Optics filter drawer for EOS DSLR cameras is a camera adaptor and filter drawer in one. Change filters without removing or turning the camera!
Areas of application in astrophotography:
- For cameras with the original filter removed, you can insert an IR blocking filter directly.
- You can use contrast-enhancing filters such as UHC or Deep Sky nebulae filters
- Even RGB photography is possible by using the DSLR to capture only the individual colour channels, resulting in a significant increase in contrast.
The filter drawer is available in two versions. It has either a T2 or an M48 internal thread on the telescope side.
Please note: Many correctors have a rather long T2 connection thread, which protrudes too far into the drawer and prevents the filter from being changed easily. The adjustment ring, which is inserted between the drawer and the corrector, allows you to achieve exactly the right distance and the connection thread no longer blocks the filter drawer.
