LED LENSER P17R
Revolution recharged
The LEDLENSER® P17R is our new lightsaber in the P-Series. Compared to the LEDLENSER® P17, we have not only nearly doubled the light output and added practical light functions, but also completely redesigned the power supply. At its heart is the newly developed battery technology, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of sustainability, performance and functionality. The Safety Ytrion Cell is based on technology that has previously been used mainly in electric vehicles. This high-performance lamp is a real long-burner. It delivers its full light output of 400 lumens* over a period of 10 hours*. This means you are always well equipped, even during long periods of use. The design and features meet even the strict requirements of police and security services.
TECHNOLOGIES:
Advanced Focus System
LED LENSER patented system focus
- Focused: More light in focus.
Advantage: Improved long-distance light (focus position). When in focus position, the reflector focuses light to the front just like any ordinary reflector (mirror). But while conventional reflectors scatter the light beam, here it is focused again by the lens. Compared to conventional reflectors, up to twice as much light within the focus. - Defocused: Circular Beam.
Advantage: Circular light beam for reading and close-up range. When the diode is situated in front of the lens, it emits circular, homogeneous light that is highly functional and beautiful at the same time. Create your own light architecture with our dynamic light cone adjustment.
Smart Light Technology (3 functions)
- Power - High light output, for each situation.
- Low Power - Glare-free reading and working with this function is to lightest discipline.
- Defence Strobe - The high-frequency light flashes (strobes) are a quick and effective method of defense. The US Army is now on this technology in the field of "Non-Lethal Weapons" (NOT lethal weapons).
Floating Charge System - Magnetic Rechargeable
The Floating Charge System is based on a new principle. Due to the magnetic charge socket, the flashlight seems to hover in its mounting. The magnetic contact makes for convenient charging, while the lamp remains easily accessible. No more fiddly removing of storage batteries in order to recharge themn in a separate charging station. Unreliable and delicate charging plugs are a thing of the past - thanks to wear-free magnetic contacts. Various connecting possibilities, e.g. USB or car adaptors, top off our new charging concept.
Safety Ytrion Cell
Maximum performance thanks to a revolutionary battery concept
Our new "Safety Ytrion Cell" is based on lithium iron phosphate technology, which has mainly been used in electric cars up to now. This technology offers significant advantages over conventional lithium-ion and nickel cadmium batteries: The "Safety Ytrion Cell" is extremely powerful and can be recharged up to three times more often than lithium-ion batteries. Thanks to the high power density of the "Safety Ytrion Cell", the light output does not drop even after prolonged use.

The special electrochemical properties of the Safety Ytrion Cell enable more than three times the number of charging cycles compared to lithium-ion batteries. - Consistently high performance
The significantly higher power density of the lithium iron phosphate-based Ytrion technology ensures consistently high performance and therefore consistent light output. - Low self-discharge
Thanks to the low self-discharge of the Safety Ytrion Cell, the lamps can be used even after months of downtime. - Temperature operating range
Lamps with "Safety Ytrion Cell" are relatively insensitive to extreme temperatures (-15 to +60°C) and are therefore also well suited for special applications.
