The universal Leofoto VR-220 lens support is designed to support longer lenses with their own tripod clamp when used on a tripod. At the end of the lens plate rails is an adjustable camera plate with a ¼-inch screw thread to which you can attach the camera. By supporting the camera, you reduce the strain on the camera's bayonet mount. In addition, balancing on a gimbal head is easier when using the VR-220 lens support.
In this case, the base plate does not comply with the ARCA-SWISS standard. It was specially developed for the large video tilt heads from Manfrotto and Sachtler, such as the MVH502.
An additional adapter is included in the scope of delivery for SACHTLER T-Serie heads.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
