The horizontal column mechanism can be attached above the tripod apex compactly and can be kept/transported easily. Switching between vertical and horizontal column orientation requires no disassembly; it can even be done with a camera attached.

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
