Product description

For observing and photography of sunspots and granulation only when used in combination with a Herschel prism or AstroSolar film. This filter extracts a narrow spectral range from the solar spectrum at 540nm. It is at this wavelength that the granulation and structure in sunspots have their highest contrast.

An IR cutting filter is essential for safe visual observing with AstroSolar 3.8!
