iScope® IS.1153-EPLi/SLC – Trinocular Allrounder with Smart Light Control for teaching and practice
The iScope® IS.1153-EPLi/SLC is the trinocular version of the EPLi series – with an additional phototube for camera connection or live transmission. It offers E-Plan IOS lenses for reliable image quality and does not require Köhler lighting, making it the ideal choice for educational environments and routine applications.
The intelligent Smart Light Control (SLC) remembers the light intensity for each objective and automatically restores it when you turn it back. A clearly visible LCD display shows light intensity, magnification, and standby and lock modes.
In addition, the iCare sensor ensures energy-efficient operation: the microscope automatically switches to standby mode when inactive.
With its robust microscope stage without protruding rack, wide-field eyepieces (EWF 10x/22 mm) and ergonomic design, this model offers a well-thought-out complete package for daily use in laboratories and teaching.
Smart Light Control System (SLC)
- The Smart Light Control (SLC) automatically stores the last used illumination intensity for each individual lens. When switching from one lens to another, the SLC system remembers the intensity and automatically resets it when you return to that lens. Simply turn the lens revolver to the next lens and the SLC system immediately adjusts the illumination intensity to the desired level.
- The illumination intensity can be locked to prevent changes in intensity by simply pressing the control button twice.
- The LCD screen on the front of the microscope informs the user of the microscope's magnification and light intensity settings, as well as sleep and lock mode when activated.
- Press the button once to enter sleep mode and twice to enter lock mode
ICARE SENSOR
The unique iCare Sensor was developed to prevent unnecessary energy consumption. The lighting on the microscope switches off automatically after a certain period of time if the user moves away.
