Filter with 77 mm filter thread for photo lenses: Particularly well suited for increasing contrast in aurora and deep sky photography!
In nature and macro photography, red and brown tones (e.g. twilight colours, sunsets, autumn leaves) are emphasised and better differentiated.
- Reduces stray light from street lamps, for example
- Blocks yellow light – a clear advantage that cannot be replaced by post-processing on a PC.
- Made from special optical glass with neodymium oxide
Ideal for wide-angle shots of the Milky Way and the starry sky with photo lenses: Unlike widely used interference filters (CLS, UHC), this filter can be used in front of a wide-angle lens, which is not possible with interference filters. Such filters require perpendicular incident light and must therefore be mounted between the lens and the camera, which is time-consuming for wide-angle shots.
