Quark is an eyepiece filter for observation of the sun in H-alpha light. Simply plug the Quark into the focuser with 1.25" receptacle, switch it on, insert a 1.25" eyepiece and enjoy spectacular views of the sun.
The chromospheric version - has a bandpass of 0.3 - 0.5 Å. Best suited for an overall view of the sun. There it shows great surface details, but also prominences at the edge of the sun.
It is suitable for use with most SCTs, Maksutov telescopes and refractor telescopes (f/15 - f/30). An energy protection filter (ERF) must be used, which is attached in front of the telescope aperture. This is not included in the scope of delivery.
