Solar Filters Ca-K-Module for LS130MT/B3400

With this Ca-K module, you can use your LS130MT telescope to observe and photograph the sun not only in H-Alpha, but also in the blue calcium K wavelength. This reveals completely different phenomena on the sun than in H-Alpha.

This Ca-K module was specially designed for the LS130MT H-alpha telescope. When the H-alpha Etalon unit is removed, the Ca-K module is simply inserted into the focuser in place of the blocking filter.

Please note: An additional conversion kit is required for the LS130MT/B3400 because the blocking filter is permanently installed in the focuser on this telescope. This is not necessary for the LS130MT/B1200 and LS130MT/B1800 models.

Calcium K light is just at the limit of the visible range for human eyes. Many people have problems with visual observation here. However, this does not apply to photography, where the Ca-K module shows everything that the sun has to offer in this wavelength.

With the focuser included in this conversion kit, the LS130MT/B3400 can also be used without a Ca-K module. You will then have a high-quality 3-lens apochromatic telescope for astronomical observations and photography!

Or, together with a Herschel wedge, you can also observe the sun in white light!
