Product description

This inexpensive focuser for Newtonian telescopes is well suited for observation and astrophotography. We recommend the focuser for accessories weighing up to approx. 2 kg. The focuser is also popular for building your own Newtonian telescopes or for upgrading existing telescopes.

Attaching the focuser to the tube: The focuser has a conical ring swan neck with a diameter of just under 78 mm on the underside. The focuser fits directly onto the various bases. This allows you to easily adapt the focuser to your tube.

The 1:10 micro reduction gear allows for precise focusing. This is particularly important for astrophotography.

Please note: The base plate (marked grey in the illustrations) is not included in the scope of delivery! You will find a suitable base in the recommended accessories.

The focusers are attached to the telescope with a dovetail ring connection. It has a diameter of 78 mm. The following adaptors can help:

Omegon V-Power Adapter 80 to 78mm if the telescope already has an 80 mm receptacle for focusers.
Omegon Bundle comprising 80mm to 78mm adapter + adapter plate for Newtonian telescopes: a set consisting of a base plate directly suitable for Skywatcher and the above-mentioned reduction adapter. Please check that the distances between the screw holes for connecting the base plate and telescope tube are correct.
Omegon Bundle comprising SCT Adapter with C11 to C8 Adapter For connection to telescopes with an SC thread (stands for Schmidt-Cassegrain, but is also available on many Maksutovs). For large telescopes (from C11), Omegon SCT Adapter alone may be sufficient.
