A guidescope is very important in long-exposure astrophotography to continuously compensate for periodic tracking errors of the mount.
The UltraGuide MKII from Artesky is a 32 mm guidescope with a focal length of 120 mm, providing a fast f/4 aperture ratio – ideal as a guide scope for medium or short focal length optics, such as a 150/750 Newton or 80/600 Apo.
The 1.25" focuser allows you to use the UltraGuide MKII as both a high-quality finder and a guide scope.
It is equipped with a T2 thread to allow connection to most cameras on the market.
The back focus offers a very comfortable focus position - both with high-quality eyepieces and with most guiding cameras on the market (e.g. QHY, ZWO, Omegon GUIDE, etc.).
The scope of delivery includes a matching holder and three screws with nylon tips, as well as a short Mini-Vixen prism rail, which allows connection to most common finder shoes with the standard profile.
Alternatively, you can simply connect the entire set to a prism clamp and attach this to any Vixen or Losmandys rail.
