BLASER RIFLESCOPES – PERFECTION FROM A SINGLE SOURCE
Only in combination with first-class target optics can hunters reliably exploit the performance of their rifles. This makes it all the more important that the function and operation of the optics are perfectly tailored to hunting practice. If the design of the riflescope is also matched to the weapon, the result is a combination of unique elegance and high performance.
ZERO TOLERANCE – SIGHTING IN THE FIRST IMAGE PLANE
For maximum shooting accuracy under all conditions, technical solutions are required that eliminate factors that reduce precision right from the design stage. This applies to the rifle and scope mount as well as to the target optics themselves. For this reason, the mounts for the Blaser saddle mount, for example, are located directly on the barrel, creating a consistently precise unit of target optics and barrel. The design of Blaser riflescopes is the logical continuation of this philosophy. Only riflescopes with a reticle in the first image plane can guarantee that the point of impact does not change when the magnification is altered. The reticle is aligned with the target image before the moving parts of the zoom system come into play.
PARALLAX COMPENSATION: NO UNINTENTIONAL ADJUSTMENT POSSIBLE
The lateral adjustment ring for parallax compensation is also secured against accidental adjustment. For a range of approx. 100 m, the ring is locked and cannot be adjusted without being noticed. Before shooting at longer ranges, it is pulled outwards and then adjusted to the desired range.
QUICK TARGET ACQUISITION – IVD (AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATED LIGHT POINT)
The 1–7x28 iC model has a special feature that is extremely useful for hunting: in the magnification range from 1x to 4x, a second, larger illuminated dot (Intelligent Variable Dot) is automatically activated. This makes targeting even easier and more intuitive, which significantly facilitates shooting at fleeing game. Of course, the light intensity of the IVD can be adjusted to all viewing conditions using the quick and easy-to-use adjustment wheel.
GENUINE 1x INITIAL MAGNIFICATION
Only when both eyes are open while shooting does the shooter have the entire field of view in sight. This is ideal when the optics provide the target eye with exactly the same image as the other eye. The Blaser 1–7x28 iC offers this advantage thanks to genuine 1x initial magnification – for an optimal overview and fast target acquisition.
WELL-DESIGNED FEATURES
The very flat adjustment tower for the reticle side adjustment has been deliberately positioned on the left side of the riflescope body. The higher adjustment tower with adjustment wheels for parallax compensation and illuminated dot intensity is located on the right side of the riflescope for easy access. For right-handed shooters (over 85% of all hunters), this means a significantly better view to the left of the riflescope. This is a great advantage in terms of optimal visibility of the entire field of fire, especially when shooting at moving game, where it is generally recommended to keep both eyes open.
BLASER B1 1–7x28 IC
The generous 90 mm distance between the eyepiece and the eye significantly reduces the risk of recoil-related injuries when using large-calibre rifles. The Intelligent Variable Dot IVD is an invaluable aid when hunting defensive game, when it is essential to acquire targets in a fraction of a second. Thanks to its 28 mm objective lens diameter, the 1–7x28 iC is also suitable for use at dusk, making it a versatile riflescope for hunting on all continents.
1 BRIGHT, NATURAL COLOURS & WEATHERPROOF
The CCC (Color Corrective Coating) multi-layer coating on all lenses ensures colour-neutral, high-contrast vision at any time of day.
The eyepiece and objective are additionally protected against dirt and moisture by the SLP (Smart Lens Protection) coating. The nano-technology coating allows water to roll off immediately and repels dust.
