DDoptics: V6 1-6x24 HDX of the 3rd generation - the drive hunt specialist by DDoptics
Like all riflescopes of the 3rd generation the 1-6x24 has the typical equipment. Other than a better optics (better coating and CT glass) the insight can be better centralized and the types of glass used have better transmission characteristics. Especially noticeable are the new watertight metal towers with hard 0,1 MRAD click adjustment including zerostop. The deliberately simple cross reticle and the best automatic illumination dot of the world (IFiber automatic position control) top off the riflescope.
Ultra-wide field of view
The V6 1-6x24 rifle scope by DDoptics leaves little to be desired for the demanding hunter looking for a modern rifle scope for the drive hunt. With a total length of 261 mm, a weight of 500 g and a tube diameter of 30 mm this scope is manageable in size and fits on every rifle. This rifle scope features an extremely wide field of view of 38.4 m on 100 m. At the lowest magnification this rifle scope for drive hunting equals a red dot reticle, thus fulfilling one of the most important requirements for hunting moving targets—rapid target acquisition.
Why a cross reticle
To equip our fibreglass illumination dot a real metal reticle is absolutely necessary als we need to lead the fibreglass to the middle of the illumination dot behind the metal wire. The fibreglass should of course be hidden behind the metal reticle. Free illumination dots and reticles are thus excluded as these would have to be made with a glass reticle. The fibreglass illumination dot has the big advantage that the light is focused and lead to the centre with almost no loss which of course has a positive effect on the final luminosity of the illumination dot. Furthermore the fibreglass illumination dot truly only shines in the middle of the illumination dot and doesn't light up the entire interior of the riflescope, which is particularly important when night vision devices are used behind the riflescope. The metal reticle is thus almost without alternative for DDoptics. The simplest form is a cross, logically. The experienced fast-targeting shooter also prefers this reticle because of the low distraction from the target. DDoptics conciously forgoes additional dots in favor for the fast targeting. Depending on the distance and the angle of the game additional dots don't make a lot of sense, as the dot can only be determined approximately. As a lot of current hunters already have experiences with red dot sights, we decided to keep this reticle as discreet as possible.
Large zoom, impressive exit pupil
Thanks to its 6x zoom range the V6 1-6x24 HDX brings shots from greater distances within the realms of possibility—for example, if deer moves far away from the hunters or lingers at a distance. The large exit pupil (12,0 - 4,06 mm) also guarantees a quick and accurate shooting position. This allows the hunter to see the target with both eyes that decisive fraction of a second faster.
Bright illumination dot in the reticle
The new crosshair reticle retains its size at all magnifications (2nd focal plane) and features a fine, glare-free, illuminated fibre-optic red dot that can be accurately and steplessly dimmed. The illuminated dot unit is located on the left next to the reticle adjustment turrets for easy use. The fibre-optic technology eliminates side effects and crossfading. That means no bothersome blooming or reflections when the illumination dot is activated. With each click the reticle moves 0.25 MOA (7.3 mm per 100 m). The click adjustment offers absolute repeatable accuracy. The adjustment ring on the eyepiece for increasing / decreasing the size of the reticle is solid and slip-proof.

Recommended use:
A particularly wide field of view of about 40 metres and a 6x zoom for easy sighting-in even at long distances are the main characteristics of the V6 1-6x24 HDX riflescope for IPSC, driven hunting and hunting moving targets. The glare-free and clearly visible fibre-optic illuminated dot offers the hunter a high degree of reliability when it comes to rapid target acquisition and quick shots. Highly recommended for all IPSC rifle disciplines.
