- 6.5 Creedmoor Marksman 12x Reticle
The 6.5 Creedmoor Marksman (12x) (exclusive to Hawke) works with the trajectory of your bullet and provides helpful aiming points for long-range shooting. The reticle features an illuminated central dot and holdover dots, which increase in increments of 100 yards/metres. - RETICULE MARKINGS
The holdover reticles on the bottom line of the reticle are arranged in ascending order. This better matches the drop of a bullet’s trajectory: the further the bullet travels, the faster it drops. Hawke has worked out the complex ballistics for you, so you don’t need to worry about it.
The reticle features target points etched into the glass. The centre is marked ‘200’, and the target points increase by 100 with each step outwards up to ‘700’. The central ‘200’ target point can also be used accurately for a 50-yard/metre shot. The tip of the centre crosshairs is approximately 100 yards/metres. Depending on the magnification setting, the reticle can be used for either yards or metres.
