Hawke Vantage HD30 riflescopes
The Hawke Vantage HD 30 series combines versatile features with robust construction and excellent value for money. Its 30 mm monotube chassis provides a stable platform for the optical system while allowing a generous adjustment range. The series is designed for users looking for a reliable riflescope with modern optics, practical handling and durable construction.
Optical system
The Hawke H2 optical system uses fully multi-coated lenses with 11 coating layers. These coatings improve light transmission and contribute to a clear, high-contrast and detailed image.A fast-focus eyepiece allows quick adjustment of the dioptre setting to the individual user.
The Hawke Vantage HD 30 4-16x50 SF is designed for shooters who require precise aiming at medium to longer distances. Its 4-16x magnification range provides plenty of detail for accurate target identification and aiming at extended ranges, while the 50 mm objective lens offers a well-balanced combination of light-gathering capability and manageable dimensions.
The exposed, locking elevation and windage turrets allow fast and repeatable adjustments with 1/4 MOA click values. They are complemented by a side focus and parallax adjustment, enabling precise correction from approximately 9 metres to infinity.
This makes the 4-16x50 SF particularly suitable for hunting at longer distances, while also providing an attractive entry point into sport shooting at medium and extended ranges.
.223/.308 Marksman (16x) Reticle
The .223/.308 Marksman reticle is specifically designed for shooters using the popular .223 Remington and .308 Winchester cartridges at extended distances. Its ballistic layout combines a central aiming point with additional holdover marks, allowing increasing bullet drop at different ranges to be compensated directly through the reticle.
The clearly arranged aim points provide quick reference in the field and make the reticle particularly suitable for longer-range hunting as well as target shooting. Once the individual rifle and ammunition combination has been properly zeroed and verified, the corresponding holdover marks can be used instead of adjusting the elevation turret for every distance.
The reticle is positioned in the second focal plane (SFP). The intended ballistic spacing of the holdover marks therefore corresponds to 16x magnification. Actual points of impact can vary depending on ammunition, bullet weight, muzzle velocity, zero distance and environmental conditions and should always be verified for the individual rifle and ammunition combination.
Robust construction
The riflescope is built around a durable 30 mm monotube chassis. It is nitrogen purged to prevent internal fogging and is designed to be waterproof, fog proof and shockproof, making it suitable for use in changing outdoor conditions. Capped low-profile adjustment turrets help prevent accidental changes to the settings during use or transport.
Handling and zoom
The knurled magnification ring allows fast and secure adjustment of the magnification. A removable XL zoom throw lever provides additional leverage and makes switching between different magnification settings particularly quick and convenient.
