Optical system
The Hawke H2 optical system uses fully multi-coated lenses with 11 coating layers. These coatings improve light transmission and contribute to a clear, high-contrast and detailed image.A fast-focus eyepiece allows quick adjustment of the dioptre setting to the individual user.
Vantage HD 6-24x50 SF
The 6–24x50 SF is designed for precision shooting at medium to extended ranges. Its wide magnification range of up to 24x provides detailed target acquisition, making the riflescope an attractive choice for demanding long-range hunting situations as well as precision target shooting.
The Side Focus parallax adjustment allows precise focusing and parallax correction from approximately 9 metres to infinity. Exposed, locking elevation and windage turrets provide quick and repeatable point-of-impact adjustments, while the removable zoom throw lever makes it easy to change magnification rapidly.

LR2 Dot Reticle
The LR2 Dot reticle combines a clean, hunting-oriented reticle layout with additional holdover aim points for shooting at longer distances. Its open outer-post design keeps more of the target and surrounding area visible, while the heavier side posts remain easy to identify in challenging light conditions.
The illuminated centre dot provides a clearly defined aiming point for fast and precise target acquisition. Additional holdover points on the fine lower post allow the shooter to compensate for bullet drop at extended ranges.
The LR2 Dot is a further development of Hawke's LR Dot reticle, with updated subtensions and bullet-drop compensation designed to complement modern centrefire cartridges and typical muzzle velocities. With the LR2 Dot version, the specified holdover subtensions correspond to the defined values at the scope’s maximum magnification setting.
Robust construction
The riflescope is built around a durable 30 mm monotube chassis. It is nitrogen purged to prevent internal fogging and is designed to be waterproof, fog proof and shockproof, making it suitable for use in changing outdoor conditions. Capped low-profile adjustment turrets help prevent accidental changes to the settings during use or transport.
Handling and zoom
The knurled magnification ring allows fast and secure adjustment of the magnification. A removable XL zoom throw lever provides additional leverage and makes switching between different magnification settings particularly quick and convenient.
