AGM Sioux IR illuminator
AGM Sioux infrared illuminators with extra-long range provide night vision devices with enhanced image-enhancing capabilities and are ideal for use in low to no ambient light conditions. The illuminator features field of view divergence and output power settings, extending the capabilities of night vision devices. The Sioux line includes the Sioux 850 model with a maximum wavelength of 850 nm and the Sioux 940 model with a maximum wavelength of 940 nm. The 850 nm wavelength is standard for most night vision applications. Although the 850 nm light source produces a faint red glow when directly exposed, it is otherwise invisible to the naked eye. The main advantage of the 940 nm wavelength is that it is completely invisible.
