Hier handelt es sich quasi um das Modell LS-254C, allerdings in stärkerer Ausführung. Und zwar sind die Beinsegmente dicker, was bei identischer Maximal-Arbeitshöhe von 1.270 mm (ohne Kugelkopf und Mittelsäule) naturgemäß eine höhere Traglast erlaubt. Auf immerhin 10 kg bringt es das Ranger LS-284C damit – und das bei nur 180 g mehr an Eigengewicht, das hier 1.420 g beträgt. Günstig ist auch das Packmaß von nur 530 mm. So auf Stärke bei großer Leichtigkeit konzipiert, ist das Leofoto Ranger LS-284C Carbon-Stativ ein verläßlicher Begleiter v.a. auf Fotowanderungen mit längerem Objektiv.
