With this adjustable spreader lock, you can securely lock the leg spread of your tripod at three fixed angles (approx. 24, 32° and 40°). This prevents the legs from swinging inwards.
The special feature of a variable spreader lock is that you almost always have the same leg triangle from the minimum to the maximum height of the tripod. This allows flexible use of the tripod with different attachments. This spreader lock is recommended for the Planet tripod.
It is operated from the underside. Lightly press the lock button while pulling (to increase the angle) or pushing (to decrease the angle/transport position) the tripod leg to achieve a different angle position.
