LH-40SC with quick-release connector for Arca-Swiss & Weaver rail

The LH-40 ballhead has a load capacity of 20 kilograms. This is achieved by the large ball diameter of 40 millimetres, which is manufactured with a tolerance of 0.01 millimetres. This allows the ballhead to easily move and securely clamp even heavy loads. The ballhead itself weighs approx. 500 grams. (Depending on the interchangeable coupling used)

The base diameter of the ballhead is 57 millimetres, and it is connected to the tripod via a 3/8-inch photo thread.

Additional features:

• The ballhead can be rotated 360° at its base and on the clamp.
• The clamp is released using a large ergonomic rotary knob.
• The clamping resistance can be adjusted as required.
• Two protrusions are available for swivelling up to 90°.

This model is equipped with the LSC-50 quick release coupling. The special feature of this coupling is that it has a double clamping function. Either for classic Arca-Swiss quick release plates or for Picatinny/Weaver rails. This allows you to quickly convert your photo tripod into a target stick.

A quick release plate is not included in the scope of delivery!

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
