The Leofoto MA-40L is a robust rapid-lock ball head designed for outdoor use with rifles, spotting scopes, binoculars, and heavy photographic equipment. Thanks to the combined Arca/Picatinny clamp, compatible rails and quick-release plates can be mounted directly without the need for additional adapters.
The large lever lock allows for quick release, precise positioning, and secure locking of the ball head. This makes the MA-40L ideal for situations where equipment must remain stable while still being repositioned quickly. The newly developed lever-release clamp with adjustable clamping width ensures a secure hold for various Arca and Picatinny profiles.

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
