MG-40 with Arca-Swiss & Weaver-/Picatinny rail adapter

The ballheads of the MA series are very interesting for photographers and sport shooters. The special fast coupling is suitable for quick release plates according to Arca-Swiss standard and for Weaver/Picatinny handrails, as found on many modern weapons.

The one-handed operation makes them suitable for all situations where speed is of the essence. The silver handle allows the ball lock to be opened and closed quickly. Inside, there is a black dial to adjust the friction (resistance).

The MG-40 can support loads of up to 20 kg. The large ball with a diameter of 40 mm can hold heavy camera equipment and withstand the recoil of powerful calibres.

This model is equipped with the LSC-50 quick release coupling. The special feature of this coupling is that it has a double clamping function. Either for classic Arca-Swiss quick release plates or for Picatinny/Weaver rails. This allows you to quickly convert your photo tripod into a target stick.

A quick release plate is not included in the scope of delivery!

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
