Leofoto SA-324CLX + MA-40X
The Leofoto SA-X series is one of the most compact tripods on the market and offers a perfect balance between weight and stability.
The "X" version features a newly designed tripod platform with a rosette connection for SA-X rifle heads and a 3/8" mounting screw for attaching standard 3/8" heads. The rosette connection provides an extremely stable connection between the tripod platform and the head. The angle stop design has been improved from the standard pull lever to a knurled rod, allowing the user to adjust the angles with just one hand instead of two.

Allows for one-handed angle adjustment. 1/4" accessory socket on the side of the tripod platform for ideal placement of a strap or arm for attaching everything from an umbrella, mobile phone or even an anemometer or rangefinders. Tripods occasionally have to withstand enormous bending and torsional loads. It is crucial that the leg angle stops and all other structural connections are well supported. Leofoto's offset leg connections fully support the leg angle stops and allow loads to be transferred directly through the strongest parts of the tripod. This also means that the tripod is more compact when folded. Large rubber feet prevent the leg side walls from touching the ground even in the lowest settings and ensure positive ground contact at almost any angle.
The Leofoto MA-40X Rapid Lock Ball Head with Hybrid Arca/Picatinny Clamp has been specially designed for use on an SA-X tripod and features both the SA-X rosette connection and a standard 3/8" mounting socket.
The head has a lever lock for locking/unlocking the ball and a newly designed lever lock hybrid system for Arca and Picatinny rails with adjustable clamping width.
100% carbon
All carbon tripod legs from Leofoto are made of 10-layer carbon material. This promises high stability with low weight and, in addition, high corrosion resistance.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
