The Leofoto STB-75X Rapid Lever-Lock Rifle Ballhead is made from solid aircraft-grade aluminium and hard anodised for optimum strength and durability. The STB-75X is designed for use with 75mm compatible systematic tripod spiders. It features a newly designed lever-release Arca clamp and a lever-operated ball lock that allows for an extremely low profile.
The newly designed clamp is a hybrid double clamp that accepts both Pictatinny and Arca rails with adjustable clamp width. The STB-75X has an integrated 75mm systematic adaptor and cannot be used as a normal ballhead and is not compatible with 3/8" mounting threads.
This product can only be used with tripods with a mount for 75mm platforms and half shells.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
