Leofoto X Mountain Forged Juggernaut S3 Shooting Tripod
The Leofoto X Mountain Forged Juggernaut S3 is a heavy-duty carbon fibre shooting tripod designed for demanding outdoor, hunting, observation and precision applications. Compared with the Juggernaut S2, the S3 uses a three-section inverted leg design, offering an improved balance between maximum stability, fast deployment and a more compact folded length.
The oversized 36 mm, 40 mm and 44.7 mm carbon fibre leg tubes are made from Toray 10-layer carbon fibre and provide exceptional rigidity under heavy load. With a maximum load capacity of 54 kg / 120 lb, the tripod is built to support demanding field setups with confidence.
Leofoto’s patented pull-down tripod lock keeps the legs securely spread and helps prevent unwanted slippage or collapse. Three angle stops — 24°, 55° and 85° — allow flexible positioning for different working heights and terrain conditions. The LN rubber twist locks use a fast quarter-turn operation for smooth and reliable deployment, even under load.
The set version includes the next-generation Juggernaut Head. Its low-profile design and large 40 mm ball provide strong locking power and smooth movement. The Arca–Picatinny dual-rail clamp system accepts compatible rails directly, with a fine-adjustment lever for Arca rails and a dedicated knob for Picatinny rails. Six additional security screws can be tightened after installation for maximum stability.
For soft, uneven or muddy ground, the tripod includes extra-long 5-inch foot spikes that can replace the pre-installed rubber feet when required. This makes the Juggernaut S3 a robust choice for users who need high stability, fast handling and a more transport-friendly format in the field.

All Leofoto carbon tripod legs are made of 10-layer carbon material. This promises high stability with low weight and, in addition, high corrosion resistance.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
