The SmartPhoto™ smartphone adapter allows you to take photos through the eyepiece of your telescope.
Specially designed for the new Discovery, Newtony and Maksy telescopes for young explorers, it is also suitable for telescopes with Plössl and Super Plössl eyepieces as well as ultra-wide eyepieces. To do this, simply remove the eyecup. The holder is then fixed to the eyepiece with the two small plastic knurled screws.
Smartphones with a width of 54 mm to 90 mm can then be fixed in the clamp, easily and conveniently aligned and secured in position with the clamping screw. Depending on the smartphone used, it is now possible to take pictures of the moon and planets, for example, but also so-called lucky imaging photos of deep sky objects. Nature shots, e.g. of insects and animals, are also no problem.
This simple, inexpensive and easy-to-use holder allows you to get started with astrophotography and the observation and recording of many processes in nature with most telescopes.
You can get the mount either in a set with a 20 mm eyepiece or separately, and you can use it with existing standard Plössl eyepieces up to 34 mm in diameter, as they come with most telescopes.
