More about the series Inspire...
The Inspire series combines proven optics with a new design:
- The sturdy steel tripod has red lighting. This allows you to find the accessories on the accessory tray without losing the darkness adaptation of your eyes. You can even remove the lighting to use it as a small torch.
- The accessory tray is not only practical, it also stabilises the tripod. On the telescopes in the Inspire series, the tray is an integral part of the tripod and cannot be unscrewed. You can simply fold up the tripod together with the tray.
- To help you align the telescope with an object, Inspire telescopes are equipped with a newly developed red dot finder. Unlike other finders of this type, it does not simply project a dot, but two target circles. This prevents a target point from outshining the object you are actually looking for.
- The dust cover of the Inspire telescopes has a built-in smartphone adapter. The smartphone is held in place by rubber bands, making the adaptor suitable for virtually any model. You can remove the rubber eyepiece cups from the included eyepieces and insert the eyepieces firmly into the adaptor. This ensures a secure connection.
- The sensitive focuser is equipped with a scale.
The telescopes in the Inspire series are ideal for beginners in astronomy. Experienced astronomers looking for a second instrument that is quick to set up should choose an Inspire and enjoy the design advantages of this series! With an Inspire, you can take a quick look at the Moon and planets – or a current comet.
But that's not all: thanks to the upright image in the eyepiece and the convenient scale on the focus, the Inspire is also ideal for nature observation!
The Optics of the AC 70/700:
With its 70mm aperture, this refractor collects 100 times more light than the naked eye and substantially more light than a typical beginner telescope possessing an only slightly smaller aperture of 60mm. This means it also has a higher resolution and, with a maximum magnification of 140X, can already show you the larger surface features when observing planets such as Saturn, Jupiter and Mars. It is also very rewarding to observe the moon: One can beautifully observe the cratered landscape of the moon, which always looks different depending upon the moon's current phase. It is also interesting for nature watching in daylight - made possible by using an erecting lens or an Amici prism. Focusing takes place by means of a rack and pinion focus wheel at the focuser. This allows the image sharpness to always be precisely adjusted and to remain fixed during observing.
The optics are also highly suitable for use as a guide scope for astrophotography or guiding in conjunction with a larger telescope.
