The Levenhuk Fatum Z1000 thermal imaging camera features a professional 640x480 Pixel sensor, allowing it to be used for demanding tasks in complete darkness. The detection range is 2800 metres for large objects and up to 1400 metres for medium and small objects. This makes it an indispensable tool for tracking targets during hunting, search operations or security activities. In addition, the device is waterproof, so you can use it in any weather: heavy rain or snowstorms.
The optics offer 2x magnification, but for very distant targets you can use additional digital magnification – a continuous magnification setting is possible in the range from 1x to 8x. In other words, the maximum magnification of the instrument is 16x.
To get the sharpest and most contrast-rich image possible, you can select a colour palette – there are six colour palettes available in total. The instrument also features hot spot detection, a picture-in-picture mode and a laser marker with a range of 200 metres, which makes it easier to detect heat-emitting targets.
The additional features of the instrument are also very impressive. The recorder allows you to record photos and videos (16 GB internal memory). The rangefinders allow you to quickly calculate the distance to your chosen target.
It is possible to view the images on the display of your Smartphone and access the settings remotely via Wi-Fi and the TargetIR Mobile app. The image can be displayed on an external display via the microHDMI connection. The Type-C connection is used for data transfer and charging the instrument. It is also possible to control the instrument remotely via Bluetooth.
If you need to set up the telescope for stationary observations, you can use the 1/4-inch tripod mount. It is powered by two rechargeable batteries with a total capacity of 6000 mAh, which allows for 4.5 hours of continuous operation.
