The Levenhuk Fatum Z250 is a thermal imaging camera that allows you to detect a target the size of a car at a distance of up to 2400 metres. A smaller target, such as a wild boar, can be spotted at a distance of about 620 metres. The instrument is compact, lightweight and fits comfortably in your hand, making it perfect for continuous use. Main areas of application are hunting and agriculture, security and search operations, and outdoor sports.
The thermal image is generated by a microbolometer matrix with a resolution of 400x300 pixels. You can choose from a colour palette of five available colours. The camera also has a laser target marker: it can illuminate the target at a distance of 200 m. The hotspot detection function allows for a faster response.
The magnification is a combination of optical and digital magnification, which can be adjusted continuously from 2.4x to 9.6x.
The instrument is robustly built. Thanks to its IP66 protection class, it is also suitable for use in rain or snow; even strong water jets cannot damage the instrument. Particular importance has been attached to energy efficiency. The energy source is a rechargeable battery, an optional energy-saving mode and an automatic switch-off function. The battery life is up to 7 hours in continuous operation.
The camera can be mounted on any photo tripod using the 1/4-inch photo thread.
The thermal imaging telescope is equipped with an integrated WiFi module and supports the TrackIR mobile app. After installing the app on your Smartphone, you can receive real-time images from the camera and change settings remotely. In addition, you can record photos and videos via the app and save them on your Smartphone. The rangefinder function is also available. You can connect the thermal imaging camera to other external devices via Bluetooth or a cable with a Type-C connector.
