The Axion 2 thermal imaging devices use a new approach to image optimisation, which, depending on the purpose and conditions of the observation, provides high-quality reproduction of the target objects as well as the background. Three levels of signal amplification, combined with a built-in smoothing filter and finely adjustable brightness and contrast settings, offer hunters great opportunities to detect animals at long distances in various weather and temperature conditions and to determine their quality.
The Axion is designed for continuous, often harsh use. The magnesium alloy housing is both lightweight and robust. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device against shock, drops, moisture, heat and cold. At the same time, the metal housing dissipates heat from the electronics, minimises image noise and increases the operational stability of the device during long-term observations.
The Axion 2 is equipped with a European Lynred sensor, which provides a high-quality signal even under difficult observation conditions such as rain, fog and high humidity at the observation site.
