Wide field of view for easy scanning
The Axion Compact monocular has a large field of view that makes scanning and searching for hot objects easier. The wide field of view allows the observer to quickly detect all hot objects and focus on the most interesting ones while keeping the entire scene in view.
Photo and video recording
The integrated video recorder is a great advantage when it comes to filming or photographing unique experiences. With a press of the REC button, recordings are made that can be easily shared with colleagues, friends and family. The instrument's internal memory provides many hours of video recording and a large number of photos.
Robust magnesium alloy housing
Axion is designed for continuous, often harsh use. A magnesium alloy housing is both lightweight and sturdy. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat and cold. At the same time, the metal housing effectively dissipates heat from the electronics, minimises image noise and increases the reliability of the device during long-term observations.
Stepwise sensitivity enhancement
Three gain levels combined with new filter algorithms and fine brightness and contrast settings increase the hunter's chances of early detection of animals in poor weather conditions and high humidity. These settings ensure optimised display of target and background objects in the observation scene.
Eight colour palettes
A selection of 8 colour palettes allows the user to observe their field of view more effectively, optimise the instrument for specific tasks and react to changing observation conditions. Hot White, Hot Black and Hot Red are ideal for object detection, while Rainbow and Ultramarine increase the chances of detection and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are best suited for long night-time observations.
Support for the Stream Vision 2 app for iOS and Android
The integrated Wi-Fi module connects the instrument to Android or iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This combination opens up a wide range of possibilities: wireless software updates for the instrument, real-time image transfer to the mobile device screen, remote control of digital functions and much more. Users registered in the application have access to cloud storage space for photos and videos taken with the instrument.
