PULSAR MERGER LRF - Thermal imaging binoculars
Thermal imaging performance with class
The Merger LRF is our classic thermal imaging binoculars with integrated laser rangefinder. These binoculars are remarkably ergonomic and comfortable. They allow observation with both eyes and reduce eye fatigue. They are equipped with first-class components that stand for European quality.
The Merger LRF series offers a wide range of European-made sensors tailored to the different needs of users:
- The compact Merger LRF XQ35 is perfect for anyone who is constantly on the move.
- The highly sensitive Merger LRF XP50 impresses in all weather conditions.
- The smaller Merger LRF XP35 offers the widest field of view in its class at 17.8°.
- The Merger LRF XL50 offers HD thermal imaging resolution and delivers detailed images even at high zoom levels.
- The premium Merger LRF XT50 instrument offers exceptional performance. Large field of view of 17.5° and excellent image quality thanks to HD thermal sensor with 1280×1024/12µm.
PULSAR MERGER LRF XP35
The Pulsar Merger LRF XP35 is the most compact model in the series, yet offers the largest field of view in its class - 17.8°. At the same time, it offers high thermal imaging sensitivity for extremely informative observation in the most difficult conditions.

Thermal imaging sensors manufactured in Europe
The LRF series from Merger offers an unrivalled thermal imaging experience. Merger binoculars use professional thermal imaging sensors manufactured in Europe for image capture:
- 12-micron sensors 1280×1024 and 1024×768 offer high-resolution image quality.
- 17-micron sensors 640×480 and 384×288 offer extreme thermal sensitivity.
Detailed and sharp image even at high zoom
The optical magnification of the instrument can be increased using the digital zoom. Even at the highest zoom level, the image sharpness is sufficient to detect even the smallest object details. Advanced algorithms improve image quality and help to produce a sharp and detailed image.
Wide field of view
The wide field of view simplifies scanning and detection of warm objects, minimises the effects of image shake and increases situational awareness. Excellent image detail at base magnification combined with the wide field of view ensures more comfortable observation and better perception of the scene.
Extra-long detection range
Powerful germanium optics combined with professional thermal imaging sensors offer exceptional detection capabilities. Top Merger LRF instruments can detect warm objects at distances of over 2 km.
User mode
Use the brightness and contrast settings to maximise the detail and clarity of the image under specific observation conditions. The "user mode" function stores the selected brightness and contrast settings in the instrument's memory, ensuring optimal image quality the next time you use the thermal imaging camera without the need for additional settings.
Classic binoculars design
Merger's LRF thermal imaging binoculars feature the classic design of daylight binoculars. With its small form factor, this thermal imaging binocular fits comfortably in the hand, yet offers an attractive exterior and exemplary ergonomics. The six function buttons are located in the comfort zone and the most frequently used digital device functions are activated with a single touch.
Comfortable viewing experience with both eyes
The optical design of Merger LRF binoculars takes into account the nature of human vision. It is natural for humans to receive visual information through two visual channels simultaneously. Seeing with two eyes is less tiring than seeing with one eye. This means better detection of small or faint objects and better performance in low-contrast scenarios than similar monocular thermal imaging devices with the same technical level. The eye relief of the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 63 to 74 mm to suit the individual characteristics of each user.
Precise laser rangefinders
Understanding the distance to the target is an essential factor in making the right decisions. With the built-in laser rangefinder, you can measure distances in single measurement and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1 m, allowing you to assess the situation quickly and without error.
Combined dual battery system
The Merger LRF series is powered by two rechargeable batteries: one built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah, the other replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah.
