The ThermTec Cyclone Series comprises compact, handheld thermal imaging monoculars for short to medium-range observations. The models combine high image quality with low weight, rapid deployment and practical features such as AI-assisted image calibration, multi-target rangefinder and long battery life.
ThermTec Cyclone 625
The Cyclone 625 is a lightweight, handheld thermal imaging monocular for short to medium-range observations. It features a 640 × 512 pixel sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch and a NETD value of < 20 mK for clear and stable thermal images. With a detection range of up to 1300 m, it offers reliable performance in the field. ThermTec AI Calibration improves image stability, whilst multi-target rangefinder and fast system start-up support efficient operation.

Thanks to its compact design and ergonomically shaped housing, the instrument sits securely in the hand. All controls are easily accessible with one hand – regardless of whether the instrument is used with the left or right hand. The well-thought-out button layout allows for intuitive operation as soon as you pick up the instrument.
Up to 20 hours of monitoring time
ThermTec’s energy-efficient technology, combined with replaceable, rechargeable batteries, enables up to 10 hours of continuous operation per battery. With two batteries, up to 20 hours of uninterrupted use is possible – from day into night. Additionally, the device can continue to be used whilst charging.
Consistently clear and stable image
The Cyclone series uses advanced AI algorithms, meaning every use contributes to further optimising image processing. By analysing various environmental data, consistently clear and stable image quality is achieved under comparable conditions.

Multi-target rangefinder
Reliably estimating the distance to the target is crucial for successful observation. When multiple targets appear in the field of view, the Cyclone series uses AI technology to automatically determine the distance to multiple heat sources. This significantly increases observation efficiency.
Customisable display with 3 image modes
The Cyclone series offers three image modes for changing environmental conditions: Forest, Target and Contour. Six colour palettes are also available. This allows the display to be flexibly adapted to the situation at hand, improving observation efficiency and reducing eye strain during prolonged use.
Further advantages
The Cyclone series features a 0.39-inch AMOLED display, six colour palettes, an operating temperature range of -20 °C to +50 °C, and IP67 certification for dust and water resistance.
