ThermTec Cyclops D-Series - with variable optical zoom

The new series is powered by the proven battery, which guarantees a battery life of 12 hours without any problems.
In addition, the new Cyclops D-Series has a dual lens system that can be easily adjusted using the rotary switch on the lens. This allows you to adjust the zoom factor quickly and silently without affecting the sharpness. ThermTec has successfully retained the old, proven features and combined them with new, innovative technology.
Features of the Cyclops D-Series:
- Dual-Field System - Optical Zoom
Thanks to the dual-field system, users can quickly switch between large and small fields of view. After locating the target with the smaller base magnification, the larger base magnification is selected for target recognition. The offset dual-field system rotary switch allows the base magnification to be adjusted in seconds without having to readjust the focus. This feature is completely unique and only available on the ThermTec series. It enables fast searching and accurate identification. This makes the instrument ideal for hunting in forests and fields. - AMOLED display with 1024x768px
The AMOLED microdisplays are high-resolution, miniaturised displays with typical pixel densities > 1400 dpi. The high pixel density cannot be perceived with the naked eye, so magnifying optics are always necessary. Unlike modulating LCD or LCOS technologies, OLED microdisplays are self-illuminating, with contrast ratios of more than 10,000:1, and function reliably even at extremely low temperatures (-30 °C). - Integrated battery with an impressive battery life of 12 hours
The integrated battery has sufficient capacity to enable 12 hours of operation. Switching the screen to dark mode (automatically or manually) is therefore also an advantage. The battery can be charged flexibly via USB-C in the car or at any USB interface or with a USB power bank. - Highly sensitive latest-generation sensor with NETD system performance < 25 mK
The new Cyclops D-Series has a new highly sensitive sensor with a NETD value of < 25 mK system performance for use in adverse weather conditions. This includes higher thermal sensitivity and higher contrast object images, ensuring better detail and image display even in high humidity, fog or rain. With a low NETD value of < 25 mK, even the smallest differences are resolved. This is particularly helpful in summer heat, when the temperature differences between game and the environment are significantly lower, or to maintain image quality in high humidity. - Extensive image settings
To better meet the different requirements of users for the visual experience, the new Cyclops D-Series camera offers sensor brightness, contrast, sharpness and anti-image noise in 10 steps each, display brightness in 5 steps and three display backlight colours (grey, blue and purple).
6 colour palettes - any colour palette you don't need can be disabled in the quick menu. Users can have 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 colour palettes in the quick menu, so they don't have to scroll through all the colour palettes they don't need. The instrument also has two additional modes: object mode and background mode.
- AI object recognition, AI rangefinders & notification
AI rangefinders – based on the deep learning algorithm – can automatically identify up to 6 animals and people and display the estimated distance directly during operation. You are notified immediately when an object enters the camera's field of view, receiving a message on your device and a notification with the estimated distance and whether it is a person or an animal. The message can be sent with an acoustic signal, vibration or silently. - 2-way WiFi
The 2-way WiFi function not only allows the user to control or display the device in the app (via a WiFi connection between the thermal imaging device and a smartphone or tablet), but also maintains the existing Internet connection of the end devices via 4G / 5G / LTE, so that the live image or images/videos recorded via the device can be shared with other users or friends in real time.
