A powerful, high-quality fluid video head for the demanding professional among videographers. If you take into account its dimensions of 330 x 122 x 91 mm (l x w x h, including swivel handle), it can be described as very light with a weight of only 760 g - especially in view of its enormous quality. The material and production method give it maximum strength: no ordinary aluminum, but light, but extremely resilient aircraft aluminum on the one hand and computer-aided numerical control (CNC) for production on the other. The result is workpieces that are accurate to fractions of a millimeter and that are highly durable and have a long service life. The BV-10M video head is compatible with the Manfrotto quick release plates 501 and 501PL.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
