Ceramic and tungsten carbide sharpening stones
The knife sharpener from Taylors Eye is suitable for sharpening and honing steel knives. Blunt blades are first pulled through the tungsten carbide sharpener two to three times. This is followed by fine honing with the fine ceramic rods by pulling the blade through two to three times. Blades that are still sharp can be treated directly with the ceramic rods for particularly fine honing. During the sharpening process, the sharpener should be placed on a table so that the non-slip rubber material can take full effect.
