Lansky sharpening set with 5 whetstones (very coarse, coarse, medium, fine, very fine)
Includes clamp, guide rods, sharpening oil, transport box
The standard set with five different sharpening stones (very coarse, coarse, medium, fine, very fine) from Lansky. This set ensures a precise, consistent sharpening angle to give a knife blade the perfect finish. The blade is clamped into the holder with the back facing down. The guide slots in the holder ensure that the same sharpening angle is maintained at all times.
Sharpening stones included:
- very coarse (black): 70 grit
- coarse (red): 120 grit
- medium (green): 280 grit
- fine (blue): 600 grit
- very fine (yellow): 1000 grit
The Lansky sharpening set, which guarantees precisely the same grinding angle over the entire length of the blade, is, in our opinion, the most suitable tool for giving a knife the final touch. The blade is clamped into the holder with the back facing down. Grinding angles of 17, 20, 25 or 30° are available. The guide slots in the clamp ensure that the same grinding angle is maintained at all times.
With this set, you can easily sharpen your knives. It is very easy to use!
- As you can see in the picture on the right, we fix your knife in position with the help of the clamp. For knives with a blade length of up to approx. 16 cm, place the clamp in the middle of the blade. If the blade of your knife is longer, fix the knife approx. two finger widths above the transition to the knife handle.
- Drizzle a little grinding oil onto the sharpening stone.
- Clamp the desired sharpening stone to the holder at the correct angle. This guarantees the correct grinding angle.
- Run the sharpening stone over the blade in even movements.
- You can determine the sharpness by changing the sharpening stones.
Tip: For very hard steels, we recommend using diamond sharpening stones!
