- The Aptina CMOS sensor has a very high quantum efficiency (a measure of sensitivity) from the visual spectral range to the near infrared.
- Thanks to its large sensor (0.5"), the camera is ideal for autoguiding. With its 2x2 binning capability, the camera can produce a 10.4µm pixel to enable autoguiding even on a faint star.
- The camera housing is equipped with a C-mount threaded connection.
