Newton Trace with recording function
The new Trace is a digital night vision device with a video recording function. The highly sensitive CCD chip delivers excellent image quality that far exceeds that of 1st generation night vision devices. This means that the Trace can not only be used for observations in late twilight, but also for recording these directly in .avi format (800x600@25fps) on a standard SD card. Thanks to the integrated infrared illumination with its invisible light, the Trace can also be used in complete darkness. In addition, it is possible to transfer the recorded data directly to a computer or other instruments via a MiniUSB 2.0 connection. This makes the Trace not only interesting for private and professional use, but also opens up new possibilities for nature observation, night walks and, thanks to the recording function, especially for security, search and rescue operations, property protection and police and fire brigade tasks.
Batteries and memory card are not included.
The scope of delivery often does not includes batteries or, if included, only low-quality batteries. These cannot be replaced under warranty. To avoid being disappointed the very first time you use the equipment, we recommend you order suitable batteries at the same time you order the equipment. Especially for equipment that is used outdoors, we recommend the use of high quality brand-name batteries. Lithium batteries are to be preferred, as these lose hardly any of their charge during prolonged storage and also do not lose performance in cold temperatures.

We must point out that discharged batteries do not go into the household rubbish!
You are legally obligated to follow the correct procedure for disposing of these batteries. Please feel free to return them to us for disposal, free of charge.
